In a long distant time, in a [[Earth-SW10|universe]] far away, the demon who claimed to be that Earth's Christian Devil distributed his body parts among his followers, to avoid being summoned as one demonic being. Since then, the recipients have been known as the Donors of Satan.

The Devil Legion is a group of Satanists from the [[Superhuman World]], each with the power of one body part of Satan. They don't have ''all'' the body parts; they left behind the Heart, Skull, Legs, Eye, and whichever satanic body part generates Fire. So they can't rebuild their Devil. But they can exercise whatever powers their body parts have. They are led by the Buttocks of Satan, now calling himself [[Devil Ass Boy]].

They are classic vigilantes, but not predatory upon innocents. Their powers allow them to perceive guilt.

They presently have these limits:

# They are junior members of their mystic order, and exiled across universes from their seniors. These senior members now believe the Devil Legion has betrayed them - as indeed the Devil Legion has.
# The versions of [[Brad Pitt]] who are members of the [[Net.Trenchcoat Brigade]] have bound them to stay within [[Net.ropolis]]. In the [[Looniverse]], words have power.
# In order to pass under the vigilance of the Brad Pitts, [[Devil Ass Boy]] has declared the Devil Legion to be fighters for goodness. In the Looniverse, words have power.
# They may be vulnerable to sincere faith in supernatural things other than Satan, in the same way that vampires are vulnerable to crucifixes. At the least, these things make them uncomfortable.

With them came a [[Devil Dog]], a zombie raised by the senior masters of their mystic order. The Devil Dog has shown the power to pass barriers against other devil-creatures. He was sent with them to fulfill the role of Limabean the Richtofen's Birthday Miracle Beagle. His whereabouts are detailed in ''Devil Legion'' #1: The Tale of the Devil Dog.

Power School is a school on [[Earth-SW12]], an offshoot of the [[Superhuman World]]. It trains new heroes, as well as those who are in some way related to heroes. It's located in Power City, Oregon, along the Columbia River.

The Power School's biggest rivals are the Legion of Net.ropolis High, another school for heroes on Earth-SW12 whose student body consists of alternate versions of LNH characters. In ''[[Power School 2013]]'', they played a spirited game of Battle Chess – only to find a greater game at hand!

Power School is now [[Character Usability|Usable With Permission]].

== History ==

Psychovant the Duck is a cyborg duck, created as a personal assistant to billionaire tycoon Mal Dunevoy. The duck was subsequently possessed by a demon with cartoonish characteristics.

He hops around time and space, generally acting like a rude tourist. The [[Council of Ordered Realities]] attached an eavesdropping device to him and have been using him to spy on the [[RACC]] multiverses. He's aware of this but thinks it's funny, and makes snarky comments into their official records.

At one point, he decided to help the LNH finish their damn [[Chaotic Add-On Cascade|cascades]] already. Getting a [[Kubrik's Kubes|Kubrik's Kube]], he jumped around the [[Omnilooniverse]] – until [[Atomic Rabbit]] caught up with him, accusing him of cosmic irresponsibility (which, yeah) and attacking him with his own Kube. When the cosmic powers met, Psychovant and the Rabbit seemed to flash out of existence, flung off to strange adventures in other worlds...

Both reappeared after ''[[Just Another Multi-Writer Cascade That Will Probably Never Have an Ending|Just Another Cascade]]'' ended, and Psychovant went back to Earth-Thai-Schoolgirl for a lengthy massage. But after the [[RACCies]] of [https://lists.eyrie.org/pipermail/racc/2016-June/016173.html 2015], Psychovant returned to action alongside [http://www.eilertech.com/stories/wiki/Spanker_4.htm Spanker 4] and the [http://www.eilertech.com/stories/wiki/Doom_Bear.htm Doom Bear]... Psychovant's Terrible Three!

Over on [[Earth-20]], Psychovant has licensed his image for a Saturday morning cartoon series. He defends his trademark zealously, at least when it comes to net.villainous imitators.

When the [[Hungry, Hungry Sabertooths!|sabertooth virus]] hit, Psychovant dropped off Swedish brawler [[Imperilus]] to confront the sabertooths! He's helping, or so one supposes.

In 2024, Psychovant settled on Earth-Power (a.k.a. Earth-SW12, home of the Powernauts) and became a history teacher in Power City High School (not to be confused with the Power School which is run by the Powernauts). At first he did this only to irritate Powernauts. But he found a mission there. His revisionist history classes are so attractive to the public, the high school lets people into them (and they get donations for that).

Psychovant has the sort of personality one would expect from a cyborg cartoon demon duck. The best that can be said of him is, he's usually too involved in irreverent debauchery to thrash people – unless they seriously need a thrashing.

== History ==

Once, there was a physics student named Tamela, who wanted all kinds of glorious things. And she inspired another student, who wanted nothing more than to give them to her, and he became the [[Time Crapper I|Time Crapper]]... and things got messy.

Mother Time showed up during the [[Infinite Leadership Crisis]] as the former girlfriend of the Time Crapper, who had stolen his temporal power items and come up with a convoluted plan to time-reverse normal clothing and sell them as expensive vintage outfits. Despite repeatedly increasing in power, she was defeated by the Legion. The Time Crapper showed up and revealed that she had repeatedly broken up with him, even as he repeatedly went back in time and attempted to fix the relationship. But eventually, they seemed to get back together, with a plan to take over the world with the [[Yuppicons]] – which was stopped by the [[New Misfits]] and the [[Geekobots]].

However, it turned out that Tamela had been Mother Time across many different iterations of her and the Time Crapper's messed-up relationship, often coming to painful ends, with the Crapper having undone the results each time. After being powered up by the [[Rung of Revamp]], the Crapper had assembled different versions of her timeline into one quasi-stable version, kept stable by the Hourglass of [[wReamEntropy|wReamThermodynamics]], with the intent of using the Rung to power her up and make it permanent. But their relationship was no less messed-up, and when [[Time-Waster Lad]] and [[Burst Beetle Tweseveny]] removed the Hourglass from the equation, her timeline snapped back, resetting her to the person she had been before meeting the Crapper, and erasing all traces of him from her history...

But even after a temporal reset, [[Hypertext Time]] retains the might-have-beens.

In ''[[58.5]]'' #46, an older version of Mother Time showed up, intending to prevent a disaster in Stuff.ORG, [[Con.net.icuit]]. This may or may not be one of the timelines the Crapper pruned, or an alt.ernate version of Tamela.

In ''[[Hungry, Hungry Sabertooths!]]'' #INFINITY, Time-Waster Lad met a version of Tamela who had become the Time Crapper after the original had fully erased himself from time.

== Personality ==

Somewhat variable across different temporal iterations, but overall: Confident, often to the point of megalomania. Often manic. Hungry for nice things and exciting experiences. Didn't tend to self-reflect much, but was probably much better off when she did.

== Powers and Abilities ==

Mother Time's abilities came from her items of power, including the a scythe which allowed her to age and de-age people, clothing, and most other things; the Mirror of Possibility, which confronted her enemies with their own alternate selves; and the Hourglass of [[wReamEntropy|wReamThermodynamics]], which had larger-scale temporal manipulation powers.

One day, a lackadasical lady in her twenties had a rather bad headache, and then things got weird. The journey involved a superhero career, a secret government agency, and the entire universe exploding and being put back together before Lydia could find out the truth about herself.

Since then, she's been exploring time, space, possibility and existence, seeing what's out there, getting her divine head together, and helping people along the way.

During the ''[[Spoon of Destiny Saga]]'', she gave [[Doc Nostalgia]] a motivational dressing-down. During the RACCie Awards of 2016, she watched others raise the Doom Bear who had been an awardee. In ''[[Just Another Multi-Writer Cascade That Will Probably Never Have an Ending]]'', she showed up to warn the LNH about the power of [[Kubrik's Kube]] (and to accidentally push [[Merissa]] away from gothdom). It turned out that she was the one who had sent [[LAN.os]] to the [[Friend Zone]] (because he wouldn't stop hitting on her), and she used her cosmic power to hold off the [[Crossover Queen]] long enough for the Legion, the [[LNH3k]], and the [[Legion of Young.Heroes]] to defeat her.

Snarky but goodhearted. Easily frustrated. Has immense sympathy for the downtrodden, and is willing to kick your butt to motivate you.

== Powers and Abilities ==

Nigh-infinite. However, they're based in Chaos, and as such, are unpredictable – no omniscience here; as well, Lydia hates running people's lives for them. Therefore, she tends more towards giving advice and alerting heroes about cosmic crises over direct involvement.

Usually manifests as a twentysomething human woman with pale skin and black hair, dressed in something comfortable.

Power School is a school on [[Earth-SW12]], an offshoot of the [[Superhuman World]]. It trains new heroes, as well as those who are in some way related to heroes. It's located in Power City, Oregon, along the Columbia River.

The Power School's biggest rivals are the Legion of Net.ropolis High, another school for heroes on Earth-SW12 whose student body consists of alternate versions of LNH characters. In ''[[Power School 2013]]'', they played a spirited game of Battle Chess – only to find a greater game at hand!

== History ==

A statue sculpted by Pygmalion and brought to life by his love and the will of the gods in the days of mythological Greece.

She was known to have befriended [[Aphrodite Bilistiche]] in 264 BC. Over the centuries she has had many adventures and clashed with a number of enemies, including the [[Earl of Oxford]]. In the 1940s she fought to protecting Greek art and culture from the Axis invaders and took part in the battle against [[Manga Man Gold]]. At some later point, she had a relationship with Gold, and they had a magically created daughter, [[Manga Girl II|Manga Girl]].

Currently, she is the CEO of [[Milky Way Technologies]], the company that constructs the Earth's [[space elevators]]. She is a shadowy but benevolent presence in the world of [[net.hero]]es, mentoring her daughter and partaking in cosmic/mystical adventures which are too weird even for the LNH.

She keeps a trophy room with mementos of her many adventures, in the skyscraper where Milky Way Technologies is headquartered.

Sly, mysterious, always smiling. She is often content to stand still, and can easily be mistaken for a statue.

Galatea is immortal, at least so far. Due to the blessing of the gods and/or her own mystic experience, she controls formidable magic, including the ability to cast lightning bolts. She can make her body as soft as human flesh, or as hard and invulnerable as marble.

Power School is a school on [[Earth-SW12]], an offshoot of the [[Superhuman World]]. It trains new heroes, as well as those who are in some way related to heroes. It's located in Power City, Oregon, along the Columbia River.

The Power School's biggest rivals are the Legion of Net.ropolis High, another school for heroes on Earth-SW12 whose student body consists of alternate versions of LNH characters. In ''[[Power School 2013]]'', they played a spirited game of Battle Chess – only to find a greater game at hand!
