The son of a wartime profiteer who used his father's vast fortune to buy the Barony of Umlaut and the Southern [[Germa.net]] castle that came with it, Baron Umlaut sought to have all computer systems recognize European diacritics.

He had a complex plot involving [[Cheeez Arrow]]'s father and the mystic fromage known as the Cheeez Umlaut, but [[Constellation]] cut it off halfway through.
