Divine is the daughter of [[God]] himself, and sister of [[Wotana]] (the daughter of Satan). In 1997, she came to the rescue of [[Nick Starless]] from the [[Dark Conclave]], and summoned [[Supperboy]] and [[Holy Roller]] to form a short-lived hero team, Supperboy and the Potaters. She and Nick fell in love, with his rooted human perspective complementing her own semi-omniscient divine one.

Nick and Divine came to Earth to thwart the destructive plans of [[God]] alongside [[Boy Redundant Lad]] and the [[Action League: New Brunswick]]. Shortly afterwards, [[Mystery]] recruited them to [[The Team]]. But Divine was forced to leave when God decreed that a time had come when higher powers could not interfere in the destiny of humankind and they would face the ensuing challenges on their own.
