The '''Legion of Net.Hippies''' was one of the predecessors to the modern LNH. Created by [[Arthur Spitzer]], they first appeared in ''[[JONG]]'' #4.

== History ==

They were active in the 1960s, as well as the early 1970s. During this period, they used the [[LNHQ]] as their headquarters. [[Super Apathy Lad]] and [[Procrastination Boy]] were once members of this team, but they were put into suspended animation when [[Richard Nixon|Nixon]] was elected. [[Nudist Man]] was also a member (and doesn't seem to have aged in relation to them, so whatever). They were once lead by [[Anti-Christ Lad]], until [[Self-Righteous Preacher]] joined and exorcised him.

They've been treated various ways over the years, by different writers with different opinions on and different levels of understanding of the [[Real Life]] hippie movement. As of ''[[Legion of Net.Heroes Volume 2]]'' #54, a [[Time Door]] is open between the 1960s and the present day, allowing Net.Hippies to travel forward and interact with modern-day LNHers.
