In a sense, all of the Looniverse is composed of the net.elements; in another sense, it is composed of the chemical elements and the fundamental forces. Both are true, from a certain perspective, and within a certain narrative.

Beings known as [[Net.elemental|net.elementals]] are composed of these substances. Many [[net.hero]]es evoke, manipulate, affect or are affected by them, including the [[Net.Elementalist]], and many mages draw upon their powers. Each net.element has an associated [[Net.Elemental Plane]].

According to the [[Crossover Queen]], some people also have a spiritual affinity with particular net.elements based on their personalities.
