In the world at large, Tony Pi is known as a writer of science fiction and fantasy short stories, published in many anthologies and winner of a number of awards. And before he was a published author, he wrote on [[RACC]], as one of the foundational writers of the [[ASH]] [[imprint]], creating ''Conclave of Super-Villains'' and ''EUROPA'', and writing issues of ''Warden'' and ''Time Capsules''.

But his first RACC work was ''[[Challengers of the Abominable]]'', a [[Classic LNH]] series about Golden Age heroes, intelligent interdimensional apes, and quantum physics. He also wrote ''[[Birth of a Villain]]'' #6 amidst his ASH work.
