History

Dean Tangri was a touring roadie and (in the off-season) bungee-cord instructor who had the misfortune of angering a syndicate of evil ticket scalpers, who sent their enforcer, Sheeer, to do Dean in during an instructional jump session off a railroad bridge. (Last words: "Funny; from here that guy almost looks like he's holding a huge pair of scissors...")

Sent back from the afterlife by a benevolent manifestation of God, Deadheadman roams Earth trying to keep people mellow and sharp objects out of the hands of the irresponsible.

He became a member in good standing (or floating) of the Net.Trenchcoat Brigade, though he did not partake in the events of Wrath of the Administrator, only showing up in the original roster.

<appearance in Lurker Lad>

Deadheadman began to haunt the LNHQ, and pestered Occultism Kid to exorcise him so he could properly move on into the Great Beyond. Occultism Kid, believing this was impossible, warned Luke and Emily Jones, the Teens in Trenchcoats, against having any contact with him, but naturally they didn't heed him. He haunted them for a bit, and then kind of drifted out of the series.

Instead, he ended up in Birth of a Villain, where<more>

Personality

Most of the time pretty mellow and rather disconnected from reality.

Powers and Abilities

Deadheadman has the power of Limited Possession: he can take over any one part of a person's body. While not as impressive as full possession, an inability to control one's eyes (or bladder) is not something to be taken lightly in a tense situation.

Appearance

A skeletal, unimpressive figure wearing a tie-died shirt and a vaguely transparent trenchcoat. Sounds like Jerry Garcia.
