High Castle is the orbiting platform atop the space elevator known as The Beanstalk. Originally, it served as a hub for interplanetary mining operations (especially in the asteroid belt), but it also functions as a customs office for aliens and as a center for space tourism. It weighs millions of tons, both metric and Imperial.
