When Acra Flight came to the main LNH timeline from LNH2, they redubbed themselves the New Misfits, after the originals whom they'd known. 58.5 chronicles the weeks between their arrival and the end of Infinite April.
Many new members joined, due partially to the fact that the LNH wasn't accepting new members during the Infinite Leadership Crisis, to prevent anyone else from being made leader and disappearing.
