If one had to name the most literary LNH writer ever, Paul Hardy would be one of the first names to come to mind. He is known for his in-depth description and characterization, and his focus on protagonists who have relatable, grounded reactions to deeply strange situations.

He started out writing for the Net.Trenchcoat Brigade with the original Wrath of the Administrator cascade, and followed it up with a sequel, The Barnstable Incident. An LNH/NTB crossover one-shot, Retcon Happy Hour, led to a full-on NTB-inspired LNH series, Legion of Occult Heroes. LOH #7 is notable for being the longest single issue in LNH history.

In 1994, Paul won Accies:The Newbie Award.
