History
Appeared during Just Imagine Saxon Brenton's RACCies!, seducing Firewire with promises of power as part of a plan to take the LNH's soles. He turned Bluetooth as well, and entered into a pact with the Grapety Purple Man in an attempt to gain mystic control over Net.ropolis. (Bluetooth later managed to free himself from his contract in exchange for a pair of vintage Air Nikes.)
When Jeanne Morningstar could not free theirself from the grasp of the terrible Dissertation Demon, they sold their motivation to the Shoe Devil. Since The Liminals all had ongoing character arcs that would never finish if their Writer lost their motivation, they went to Net.Hell to battle the Shoe Devil for it. He managed to beat them all down until Manga Girl accessed a ridiculous super form and Masterplan Lad boggled his mind with implausible continuity, so he gave the motivation back and booted them out.
Personality
Manipulative and scheming. Obsessed with acquiring humans' soles; it's unclear as to whether this means some portion of their spiritual being or just, y'know, the bottoms of their shoes.
Powers and Abilities
Standard giving-supernatural-gifts-upon-contract. In his home domain, various devil-themed video-game-endboss powers.
Appearance
Dark crimson wrapped in shadow with really big feet. Alternatively, a human-sized shoe wearing a red cape, with small horns jutting out of its tongue (the shoe part, not the actual tongue).
