History

The Red Squares appeared in Net.York City in 1984, making some kind of Statement about capitalism and the cold war; in pursuit of this, they kidnapped Mister Stomper and held him hostage at MTV headquarters, along with a bomb that would destroy Times Square. Luckily (?), as part of the overcomplicated plot of Birth of a Villain, several net.heroes had just been blasted back from 1999 and engaged them in banter and fisticuffs. Unfortunately, said net.heroes were very silly, and the Squares were about to set off the bomb, until Mouse, Easily-Discovered Man Lite, and a young Google-13 talked them out of it, and they surrendered to the authorities.

Personality

Fairly simplistic ideological crusaders, though sensible enough to realize the futility of meaningless sacrifice.

Powers and Abilities

Boris carries a glowing golden hammer, and Natasha carries a sickle with a crackling laser blade.

Appearance

Two muscular figures dressed in red wrestler's uniforms with gold stars on the chest, with black fur hats and boots.
