History
When the Knightforce Elite appeared on the Looniearth, they claimed that Pliable Lad was a clone of their member Plymax. It turned out that they were all evil clones, but then Plymax – seemingly Pliable Lad's twin, with identical powers – came to help stop them. He confirmed the clone story (even though, many issues later, it would be proven untrue[1]) and returned to his home world.
