History
Deft and Ramaj lived together in the mysterious Room-Continuum. Deft saw the coming of a force that was trying to control Access, and when Ramaj realized this would upset their dinner plans, they went off to Chicago to face it. They joined the big gathering of trenchcoaters[1], and ended up sucked into one of the Universal Office's Pocket Bureaucracies.
Personality
Gets bored easily. Likes to look out the window on airplanes.

Watches TV as a method of divination. Really quite good at skateboarding, especially the kind needed to outrun approaching monsters.
Appearance
A six-foot-tall man with executive good looks and a mohawk. An aging skate punk, as skate punks go.
