Princess Caramella is a mermaid vampire princess created by Drew Perron.
Alter Ego: N/A
Aliases: None
Primary Writer: None
Status: Reigning monarch of the Abyssal Court
Usability: General Use

History

When Princess Caramella was born, her mother gathered seven of the most powerful ocean spirits, and each one of them laid a curse on the Princess, which anyone seeking to wed her would have to break.

This seems to have set the tone for their relationship, and by 2013, the Princess had overthrown her mother and assumed the throne (though she still styled herself as Princess). Around this time, she and the Abyssal Court came to the LNH's attention over the problem of ocean acidification due to mankind's increasing carbon emissions.

Later that year, Explain-the-Joke Lass went on a quest to invoke and break the curses. At first, Princess Caramella was angry due to the chaos this caused; however, she found EtJ Lass's reasons compelling, and they entered into a relationship.

Personality

Has a strong, driven personality. Is dedicated to justice, to fairness, and to her people. Likes to talk in fish puns.

Powers and Abilities

Mostly undefined. Probably significant mystic abilities. Can breathe underwater and in the air equally well.

Has direct political power, and is well-liked among her subjects.

Appearance

Humanoid. Has blue skin. A single long tooth protrudes from her mouth. Wears a multicolored, flowing dress and a complex helm with long horns on it.

Relationships

In a courtship with Explain-the-Joke Lass.

Notes

Is inspired by a combination of Marvel's Namor the Sub-Mariner and Homestuck 's Feferi Peixes, along with the underwater vampires from the Doctor Who serial "The Curse of Fenric". Her name comes from the classic vampire story Carmilla.
