alt.comics.lnh was the primary LNH newsgroup for a long time, until and even for some time after the creation of rec.arts.comics.creative.

During this time, the LNH was being posted to rec.arts.comics.misc, but RACM was primarily a discussion newsgroup, and many posters complained about the LNH being off-topic and taking up bandwidth. During one of these debates, an unknown person created alt.comics.lnh without going through the proper channels – thus ensuring that it wouldn't propagate correctly, and that the LNH would continue being posted to RACM until the creation of rec.arts.comics.creative.

alt.comics.lnh is currently low-traffic, consisting only of crossposts from RACC and the Looniversal Answering Machine pointing readers to RACC. (The spammers seem to have mostly given up on it.) Nevertheless, it can be read and posted to here or on your local newsreader.
