A Chaotic Add-On Cascade is a storytelling style wherein a story chapter is posted and anyone who wants to follow up on it may, in any direction they choose. It is highly organic, almost always unplanned, and metric tons of fun.
Chaotic add-on cascades have a long history in the LNH; the very first LNH story, the Cosmic Plot Device Caper, was one such. The silliness inherent in the LNH tends to be most expressed here, as writers twist the plot in unexpected directions and directly contradict each other for the sake of a gag.
