The Sound of Clashing Metal is a Classic LNH story by Dave Van Domelen and Mark Friedman. It explores the strange relationship between Acton Lord and Sig.Lad.
The ending lead directly into the Claymore the Sig.Warrior special.
It was named after a pun on a Marvel villain; apparently, the sound of clashing metal is "KANG!"
