vuw.events is a newsgroup dedicated to announcements for events in Victoria University in Melbourne, Australia, which Barry Knewbee attended before he became Fan.Boy. He traveled there with Retcon Lad while seeking to understand the nature of his counterparts. The group was an empty white void where announcements occasionally appeared, inhabited only by its Fan.Boy, who was wildly enthusiastic about them.
