They discovered that the Writer-With-Integrity was an amalgamation of the spirits of many great comics writers of the early '90s, held prisoner by the evil editor [[Defacto]].

After DeFacto was thoroughly defeated, the Writer-With-Integrity gave himself up so the meandering storyline could finally end.
