The Cascaders are a race of cyborg aliens native to alt.cascade. They were created by Jef Kolodziej and first appeared in The CrossOver Caper.

They fly around in cube-shaped ships – specifically, cubes with nine colored squares on each side, of six different colors[1], and try to assimilate people into their collective. They have the ability to spout off one-line rhymes for hours. At least one shipful of them is lead by a mysterious shadowy figure.

Context

The Cascaders are, of course, parodies of the Borg from Star Trek.
