The League split up to investigate mysterious events going on all over the world, and in Ant.alt.ica, alongside his teammates QuickMale and Captain Echo, Blue Wave discovered the nefarious mechanisms of Dr. Node! The bad doctor activated his robot dragon's self-destruct, and Blue Wave was thrown away by the blast...
...waking up seven years later in a world where the Net.Hero League of America did not exist and had never existed. He joined the LNH to have a place to be, and since Miss Translation and her band of weirdos had found him, joined up with them.
