The Cascaders are a race of cyborg aliens native to alt.cascade. They were created by Jef Kolodziej and first appeared in The CrossOver Caper.

History

At least one shipful of them is lead by a mysterious shadowy figure.

Powers and Abilities

They fly around in cube-shaped ships – specifically, cubes with nine colored squares on each side, of six different colors[1]. They have the ability to act as one unified mind, maintained by continuous subspace email, and try to assimilate people into their collective. They can spout off rhymes for "assimilate" for hours.

Context

The Cascaders are, of course, parodies of the Borg from Star Trek.
