Golden Man: Life and Death is a Classic LNH miniseries by Amabel Holland, one of the staggering number of LNH stories she wrote upon coming to RACC at 15. It follows up on Golden Man and Smart Alec, telling the story of Golden Man's origin and his (temporary) death, and Gary Niceguy's taking up the Golden Force. It is one of the many, many LNH stories parodying the death and return of Superman.

It is split into four books, but book III does not exist. (Amabel would later write, "I skipped an issue or two for reasons I still can't quite fathom.")

It can be read on the Eyrie Archive here, along with a number of Amabel's other early Golden Man stories.
