History
Due to the reality shift surrounding the use of the Spoon of Destiny on [REDACTED], [REDACTED] was removed from the timeline and Mentus was added.
Mentus the Mouse was a product of W.H.A.T.E.V.E.R.'s project to duplicate the process that created Doc Nostalgia's longtime foe Cranium. He came to the Legion because the only thing that can truly challenge his intellectual might is the challenge of fighting supervillainy – or so he claims.
Mentus helped guide Doc Nostalgia through the very same reality shift that created him.
Personality
Very intelligent. Often smug, irritating, or aloof.
Claims that crimefighting is simply an intellectual exercise, meant to keep his powerful mind from getting bored.
Powers and Abilities
Mentus describes himself as follows: "Due to laboratory experiments, I have the mental power of all scientists and physicians in the world." This includes massive intelligence, the ability to calculate the shape of time (letting him perceive the effects of time travel, Retcons, and other disturbances in the procession of cause to effect), and minor telekinetic abilities.
Appearance
Mentus is a laboratory mouse, roughly six inches tall from head to hind feet, with white fur and a disproportionately large head. He walks upright and wears a mouse-sized white lab coat.
