Maurice Beyke

Maurice Beyke was the creator of Comics Snob Boy, one of the participants in the first round of the Cosmic Plot Device Caper. He died in a car crash in 2000, meaning that, in a somewhat disturbing coincidence, the creator of the one CPDC-era LNHer who died and stayed dead is also dead in the Real World. He also posted on the Glorantha mailing list.
Legion of Net.Heroes Volume 2 #50's Comics Snob Boy-related plot thread was a kind of memorial to him.
