rec.arts.manga is a Usenet newsgroup dedicated to all aspects of Japanese sequential art.
Manga Man, as one might expect, maintained his base of operations there for quite a long time.
During Looniverse Adrift!, while the Looniverse was careening through the Usenetverse, it ended up in rec.arts.manga. Net.ropolis became a shining techno-city under attack by giant robots.
The group maintains a low but consistent level of traffic to this day, and can be read here.
