A drabble is a story of exactly one hundred words in length. Drabbles are a common form of constrained storytelling, especially among amateur writers.

The concept of the character Drabble Girl is based on stories like this, and each issue of her own series is in this format. Drabbles have been written for other series too, both LNH and not, and K. Michael Wilcox is known for writing them. Drabble-length scenes within a longer issue are another way that a writer can use the format, and can offer slightly more flexibility than a standard drabble.
