alt.out-of-body or alt.oobe is a newsgroup for documenting out-of-body experiences. In the Usenetverse. It is an afterlife dimension that is not accessible by ordinary dimensional travel or Crossposting. Those Annoying Crosspost Brothers got themselves (and their entire universe) killed so they could scout it out.
It may be accessible through alt.obituaries— but getting back is another matter.
It still gets occasional traffic to this day, and can be read here or on your local newsreader. Its extremely 1990s web page is here.
