Io.wa (also spelled I/O.wa; see Net.names) is a state in the Loonited States of Ame.rec.a. It has a primarily agricultural economy, and has one of the lowest crime rates in the nation. In narrative terms, it's useful as a boring place to grow up before going off and doing exciting things.
