LNH: The Early Years was a Classic LNH miniseries by Martin Phipps, looking back to the LNH's early years, expanding on flashbacks added to Martin's version of the Cosmic Plot Device Caper, and setting up the return of the Mirror Looniverse's evil LNH in Flame Wars VI.
While most previous portrayals of the LNH's founding implied or stated that they'd formed relatively shortly before the Cosmic Plot Device Caper, LNH: The Early Years had the team starting up in the mid-1980s. More recent versions of the LNH's origin, including Legion of Net.Heroes Volume 2 #50 and Retcon Year, place the team's founding in 1991. Due to Hypertext Time, all of these versions are true somewhere...
