History
In meta-continuity, Lurking Lass was created because early LNH writers tended to forget what Lurking Girl's name was. The confusion was so pervasive that Scavenger himself sometimes used "Lurking Lass" even after he'd explicitly mentioned the distinction.
In-character, after the Fan.dom of the Alt.ra kidnapped Lurking Girl during the Two-and-a-Half Month Gap, he sent Lurking Lass to take her place.
