Maurice Beyke was the creator of Comics Snob Boy, one of the participants in the first round of the Cosmic Plot Device Caper. He also posted on the Glorantha mailing list.

He died in a car crash in 2000[1]. Legion of Net.Heroes Volume 2 #50's Comics Snob Boy-related plot thread was a kind of memorial to him.
