One day, rec.arts.comics poster Steven Librande got sick of that overlong "Legion of Net.Heroes" injoke thread that was clogging up RAC. But, being a good sport, he decided to be silly about it. Calling himself "the ingenious Doctor Killfile", he threatened to destroy the Legion with his "kill-o-ray." The LNH posters then started a roleplaying thread where their heroes took on Doctor Killfile, the LNH transformed from a forum joke to a storytelling universe, and the rest is history. Steven Librande probably never read a word of it.
