...waking up seven years later in a world where the Net.Hero League of America did not exist and had never existed. He joined the LNH to have a place to be, and since Miss Translation and her band of weirdos had found him, joined up with them. Unfortunately, that meant he was kicked out of the LNH when they lost The Normalizer.
Millionaire philanthropist Lamar Dunston set their team up with a base, and Blue Wave and his new allies set off on adventure. They found The Normalizer again— but lost another, as Miss Translation fled with scant warning back to her home planet. Together, they set off into space – only to find themselves a thousand years off course!
Powers and Abilities
Has the ability to manipulate ice and water, as well as some deeper link to the Net.Element of Thread.
Personality
Square-jawed'ly heroic! Shoves down any complicated and/or difficult feelings which would interfere with that persona.
Appearance
A man garbed head-to-toe in a blue spandex costume, complete with a mask that leaves only his eyes, nose, and mouth exposed.
Additional Notes
Blue Wave and the other heroes and villains of his world are references to FidoNet, a system that connected bulletin boards in the early days of the Internet, that was both like and unlike Usenet.
Appearances
- First Appearance: The Continuing Misadventures of Miss Translation #7
- The Continuing Misadventures of Miss Translation #8-19
