The Legion of Substitute Net.Heroes was a team put together by The Looker to recharge the Cosmic Plot Device and retrieve the Ring of Retcon. Once he'd done so, he brainwashed them into enabling his nefarious plot, but the Drizzt's Defenders freed them.
