Calling Doctor Variel

Calling Dr. Variel is a one-shot by Amabel Holland and Jesse Willey, made up of short-short stories about Doctor Ashley Variel, medical doctor who finds herself caught up in superhero drama and supernatural strangeness, and her friend and partner Jerome Gully. It explores Variel's personal history and their relationship.

It can be read on the Eyrie Archive over here, and was also collected in The Team Director's Cut #4, along with the Gully and Variel miniseries.
