The Cosmic Reset Button was a device created by the power of the shattered pieces of the Cosmic Plot Device, with just enough power to alter history once. Hex Luthor used it to become President of the Loonited States.
When he was defeated in Beige Midnight, Hex revealed he'd created a second Button as a backup, but Kid Kirby stopped him before he could use it and destroyed the Button, claiming it to be too great a temptation for humanity.
