The Dunce Circle were a shadowy organization whose members believed that their way was the only way and nobody else could ever possibly be right.
They attempted to capture and clone CAPTAIN CAPITALIZE on the mistaken belief that his powers would help them capitalize on trends; Ultimate Ninja then sent Ven-Dorr to infiltrate their organization.

They are an Usenet-based parody of the Legion of Super-Heroes' enemies, the Dark Circle. They might have evolved from the first ever LNH post's Fundamentalist Circle.
