The planet known as Haven serves as neutral territory for the different cultures and races in the former Dorfian Empire and adjoining space.
Haven has a primarily desert climate. It's covered by great ruins, left behind by the dying entities who forged their peace, and filled with the technology that enforces it. Members of the different races live there in peace, if not necessarily harmony.
Vel was born and grew up here.
