History

Mable Phillips, a mutant, came to Net.ropolis and joined with Manga Girl against the Giant Sewer Rat. Shortly afterwards he was recruited for the government program Teenfactor, becoming a founding member. Soon he became romantically involved with his teammate Vixen. He was initially the team leader but over time the role shifted to Carolyn.
When the demonic consciousness of the Insanity Gaulnaut emerged and attempted to retcon reality, Mable wished himself out of existence, leading to the world becoming a hellish dystopia (naturally). He managed to restore reality with the aid of Electra, that world's Carolyn Forge. He also slept with that world's Vixen, not wanting to die a virgin.
When he returned, he remained on Teenfactor for some time until he discovered that he was HIV-positive, after which he broke up with Vixen and left the team.
