Mike Escutia was a well-respected LNH author of the early-to-mid 90s. He wrote the LNH series Pliable Lad, which spun off Retcon Midnight, the definitive LNH dystopian-alternate-timeline storyline (unless that's X-Post Facto).

He also wrote a Superguy series, Hero Patrol, which crossed over with the LNH twice, first in the Auld Acquaintances one-shot and later in Stolen Hearts, a tie-in to the Hero Patrol storyline "Altiversal Theory". As well, he wrote Tapestry, an LNH spinoff series in the Crossroads imprint.
