Paul DeSanto was known as Uplink (but not that one).
A veteran of alt.barney.dinosaur.die.die.die, he was brought to RACC by his friend, Ted Brock. While he co-created the original Starfall imprint and authored a number of RACCCafe posts, he wrote only a single LNH story, The Oozelfinch-Kiwi War #1.
