Pearly White was a Classic LNH series spinning out of Teenfactor, begun by Amabel Holland and completed by Jesse Willey. Journey Into Irrelevancy was intended as light comic relief from this work, but Amabel got sick of Pearly White and abandoned it, leaving JII to flourish instead. She has since Elsewhirled Pearly White, along with most of her early work.

"PEARLY WHITE was a hunk of crap. It was depressing, violent, dark, nihilistic, and I'm sorry that my name is attached to it."
—Amabel Holland, "Some Pseudo-Random Thoughts on the LNH" [1]

Issue #7 was a crossover with Flame Wars IV.
