History

The man who would be known as Chesspiece Face was born in the Raiders Universe. His metahuman powers activated after an incident in high school when he attempted suicide by sticking his head in a wood lathe. He ended up becoming a criminal and forming They Might Be Villains, as the group's leader.

Along with the rest of TMBV, Chesspiece Face was pulled into the Looniverse during the Kinda Big Darkness Saga by Flipseid (or, rather, by Acton Lord in the guise of Flipseid). When things got too hot in the Raiders Universe, he decided that they would migrate to the Looniverse permanently.

Turns out this wasn't a great idea. First, Flood's evil twin took over the group, only to be defeated by Flood himself as Constellation. Then, Lord Ebon tricked Chesspiece Face into applying magical lacquer to his head, allowing Lord E to take over CF's body and destroy TMBV. In turn, Constellation destroyed Chesspiece Face's body by forming They Might Be Villains Mountain, with a giant chess king on top in remembrance.
