Very Big Boy is a net.hero created by Saxon Brenton.
Alter Ego: Don Scowie
Aliases: None
Primary Writer: Saxon Brenton
Status: Trainee member of the LNH (Classic Team), on liaison from the military of rec.arts.movies.b-movies
Usability: Usable With Permission

History

A native of rec.arts.movies.b-movies, Lieutenant Don Scowie's destiny was altered when (due to Limp-Asparagus Lad's Drama-altering powers) he replaced teenager Pete Greenberg in Doctor Liverwurst's world-conquering plan and was transformed by atomic radiation into a 40-foot man. After being freed from Liverwurst's mind control, joined the LNH as a trainee in order to make sure his home newsgroup becomes a superhero universe instead of a Cold War Paranoia universe.

Personality

Self-disciplined, cheerful. Has an early-60s mindset (that is, before hippies were a mainstream cultural Thing), causing him to see the 21st century as a combination of a technological utopia and a world of decadence.

Powers and Abilities

Can grow to over forty feet tall. Resistant to radiation and recovers quickly from radiation poisoning.

When he changes size, he draws extra mass from an extradimensional source (as per the first law of Marvel physics: When in doubt, invoke another dimension). Typically, the extra mass is a form of "doesn't matter", which is transparent to gravity but not to the other fundamental forces (electromagnetism, the nuclear weak force and the nuclear strong force), meaning that he may gain several tons of extra mass but still keep only his normal weight.

Appearance

Adult white male. Black hair at normal size, green at Very Big Size. Wears a basic bodysuit in mustard brown with a radioactive-green bar rising from his feet, up the inside of his legs and up onto both his chest and back, ending at chest height in an upward-pointing arrowhead, and a belt with the LNH logo.
