When Rebel Yell faced off against Dial D for Dvandom, he revealed the power of his fellow Writer Characters! The first to appear was Allusion Lad! ...who promptly decided he was meant for better things than mindless battle, and dispersed his essence, becoming one with the universe, thus allowing allusions to prosper in the world. Thus, thus, thus.

Any later appearances have been officially declared to be the mysterious Pseudonymph taking his form.
