History
Rumor Monger's history and how he got his powers are unknown, though (of course) there are many rumors. He is a longtime member of the Brotherhood of Net.Villains, though sometimes he pops into the LNHQ to spread rumors there. Foe of Obscure Trivia Lad since the "Cable-is-Nathan-Summers" rumor.
Currently a member of the East Coast Brotherhood of Net.Villains.
Personality
Loves to spread rumors (which are sometimes true and sometimes completely off base). Enjoys sneaking up on people and causing various kinds of trouble.

Deftly spreads scurrilous rumors.
