Real Life Minus One refers to a world ike the world of the Writers, but accessible by fictional characters. The Legion's equivalent of Earth-Prime, also known as Real World Minus One.

There seem to be multiple such worlds; if a writer doesn't want to deal with the accumulated changes of previous fictional visits, they can go to a variant world that doesn't have any of that. (For example, Purple Crayon and Anime Freak were both once RL-1 versions of Amabel Holland.) Some of these worlds have been occasionally referred to as "Real Life Minus Two", etc., but any terminology along that line is doomed to get hopelessly tangled.
