alt.toys.transformers is the newsgroup dedicated to a certain franchise of giant, transforming robots.
While most of the fiction on ATT is based around characters copyrighted by a large corporation and, thus, is not appropriate for RACC, the RoboMACs hail from there. Acton Lord found MACE there, leading to the Robot Invasion crossover; the Secret Dvanders traveled there to bring the Guardians in on their side; and the MAC forces were scattered across its stories until Firebrand brought them home. As well, various RoboMAC-related stories have been crossposted there.
The group is still active, with Dave Van Domelen's toy reviews as the greatest source of activity, and can be read here. See also RoboMACs 2163.
